Why Are There So Many Duplicate Listings on AkiyaMart?

We get this question a lot - and we want to be super upfront about it.

Yes, you might see the same house listed more than once on AkiyaMart. It's not because we're trying to inflate our listings or trick anyone into subscribing - this is actually our top priority to fix.

We source listings from multiple Japanese real estate platforms (many of which don’t talk to each other), so duplicate properties sometimes show up with slightly different details - like:

• Different prices depending on the real estate company
• Vague or mismatched locations because most agents don’t publish exact addresses
• Different images

To help in the meantime, we’ve added a source badge to each listing (see coloured diamonds in the bottom left corner of each listing in screenshot below👇), so you can see where it came from.

We’re currently building tools to detect and merge duplicates automatically, so you’ll get the cleanest, most accurate view possible - no more clutter.
